Host | Student Accommodation – The Hive in London – For parents

I’m Sally, I’m the Assistant Manager at The
Hive. I’m here for the student security and happiness
and well-being The Hive is based in Central London, it’s
really close to a variety of different Universities, such as Queen Mary, King’s College and London
College of Fashion, and you also have the tube station which is only a couple of minutes
walk away I’m Larissa, I’m from Hong Kong and I’ve been studying in the UK for 4 years. The team really helped me to settle in, and
they were very friendly, and if I have any problems they make sure that I know I can
always go to them for help When a student first arrives at The Hive,
firstly we will settle them in, give them all the information they need, we will take
them to their rooms and show them the building so they know where everything is located. We also give them a detailed welcome pack. At the Hive our resident’s safety and security
is our number one priority. If a student had a problem and they needed
to speak to somebody they can come down to reception twenty four hours a day as there
is always somebody here. We also have a number that is operational
twenty-four hours a day as well. We have CCTV in operation both outside and
inside of the building and we have fob access doors which are security doors. At The Hive, all bills are included so there’s
no extra worry. At The Hive Wi-Fi is also included in the
bill, it helps me keep contact with my friends and family back home. It makes life a lot easier. My mum actually was with me for the viewing
of The Hive, and the whole process of picking my current student accommodation and she feels
really safe for me to be living at The Hive. So, she knows that even though I’m really
far away from home, I’ll be very safe.
