FedUni Accommodation Scholarship student testimonial_Pattan

Hi, I’m Pattan from India. I’m studying
Masters in Engineering Technology and I live on campus at Federation University
Australia. I chose FedUni because it has a great reputation. The environment here
is beautiful and I love living in quiet cities like Ballarat. Living on
campus at Federation University has been a wonderful experience. I have met so
many great people from all over the world, and the support from the staff
here has been excellent. I was really happy to get the full accommodation
scholarship, which means that I lived on campus for the whole first year without
paying any rent. It’s really made my life easier. Mount Helen campus is surrounded by bushland, so it is a very relaxing place to
live. Sometimes in the early mornings, I even see kangaroos and koalas on campus.
There is a gym, swimming pool and cafes on campus, and there are regular buses
into the cities. FedUni Living also organises events like skydiving and
surfing, as well as on campus parties and dinners. As the club president of FedUni Indian Students’ Association, I have helped to organise a number of events on campus, such as the recent Diwali celebrations There’s always something to do here. You
never get bored. One of the best things is it only takes 5 minutes to walk to
classes. All of my lecturers are friendly and easy to talk to, and I can knock on
their door anytime if I have any problems Hi, I’m Alyssa from FedUni Living.
Here at FedUni Living, we encourage all our international students to live with us. Living on campus we think provides the best possible start to your university experience: great opportunities, invaluable memories and lifelong friends. It also represents
great value, especially to our international students who receive the
accommodation scholarship, such as Pat here, who recently won the award for resident of the year. Congratulations, Pat! It was an order to win Resident of the
Year. I have loved living on campus at Federation University and I’m looking
forward to coming back next year as a residential advisor to help other people
settle into their lives on campus Come and join me at Federation University
